1. KIDNEY STONE AND FIBROID

Mrs. C.S, a 39 year old female, had recurrent stone formation in the kidneys which she operated twice uptil now after her mairrage. She was taking homoeopathic medicines for cough and cold or any other complaints off and on. This time on 21/12/2010, she came with a sonography report dated 11th October 2010 that showed that she had a tumor (fibroid) in uterus and kidney stones in both the kidneys. She complained of irregular menses since few months. She had not taken any treatment of any kind for the above problem from anyone. She desired to take homoeopathic treatment for the same. She was treated from 21/12/2010 with homoeopathic medicines only. A sonography done on 2/2/2011 revealed reduced size of kidney stones and the tumor (fibroid)not there. The next sonography was done on 21/7/2011 which revealed an absolutely normal uterus and further reduction in the size of the kidney stones . The fibroid got cleared first and subsequently the kidney stones disappeared . The next USG report dated 28/11/2011 showed normal uterus and no renal calculi.Since few years now, on her regular annual checkup after that, she has never complained of it again.

2. POLYCYSTIC OVARY DISEASE (PCOD)

Mrs. S.S , A 21 years old female complained of no menses since few months. The USG dated 11/4/2001 revealed PCOD(poly cystic ovarian disorder). The patient started the homoeopathic treatment for the same from 13/4/2001 but was very irregular with the medications. The patient was told that irregular medication will be less helpful. The ULTRASOUND was repeated dated 2/8/2001 and it revealed that the right ovary was normal but left side is still the same. Again , the patient was acknowledged that we could have achieved a better result if the medication would have been regular. The patient agreed to be regular and was on regular medication after that. The ULTRASOUND was repeated again on 12/10/2001 and it showed normal ovaries and fallopian tubes. The treatment for the same ended on 23/10/2001. After that she came for cold/cough/ fever etc. the similar complaints did not come up after that again.

3. DYSMENORRHEOA DUE TO SEVERE ENDOMETRIOSIS

A 32 year old female , mrs. M.B from Ahmedabad had come for painful menses. She was a known case of endometriosis (a well known reason for painful menses and which needs to be surgically treated periodically)for last 5 years then.She was started with regular homoeopathic medication from -------. The following menses were absolutely painless and comfortable. At the end of 3 months , when consecutive 3 menses were painless and comfortable, the SONOGRAPHY was advised. The report done showed everything normal and no sign of endometriosis. She has never had the relapse of complaints for last 15 years now.

4. IDIOPATHIC THROMBOCYTIC PURPURA

A 6 year old boy, master A.K complained of 2 – 3 bluish green patches on knees, forearms etc. they were painful to touch. It was noticed since 5 months now and they had started increasing in size. He was suffering from a blood disorder called ITP – idiopathic thrombocytic purpura in which slightest injuries or even without any reason , the blood capillaries breakdown to form the bluish black patches. Along with this, he had recurrent cold and cough complaints since he was 6 months old. He developed running nose, constant sneezes, cough with phlegm and breathlessness. The change in weather, cold food/drinks, dust, smoke exposure would lead to the above complaints. Therefore, he had to be put on neubuliser very frequently. He also frequently complained of pain in abdomen. The pain was colicky and very agonizing remaining for atleast 30 minutes inspite of taking allopathic medicine for it. He would always have fever with this. His stools were alternating sometimes hard and difficult to pass and sometimes infrequent involuntary loose motions. After starting homoeopathic treatment from 23/7/2009. The stools became soft and normal 11/8/2009 onwards . The itching of scalp, dandruff and bluish black patches were absent 1/9/2009 onwards. He started picking up weight from 8/9/2009.it was 18.5 kgs then and kept on gradually increasing. His cold/cough frequency came down drastically to 1-2 sneezes with watery nasal discharge that was very mild in intensity and recovered within 1-2 days of homoeopathic medicines. No neubuliser given even once after the homoeopathic treatment started. He was practically without the perinial cold/ cough by December 2009. By now his bluish black patches had stopped . his cold frequency almost became once /month lasting for 2 days and very mild intensity without any fever and breathlessness. Till june 2010, he was on regular homoeopathic treatment which he carried out religiously without any break. By july 2010, he had settled down completely and the medication was stopped. He was advised to take homoeopathic treatment for any health issues in future. Since then, uptil now, the purpura never came nor did any other complaints recurred. He does come even today if anything acute comes up. He comes for cold complaints 1-2/year since 2010 which he recovers from within 24 hours with homoeopathic treatment only. His height/ weight is absolutely age appropriate and scholastically also he performs well.

5. BARBER’S ITCH WITH SEBORRHEOIC DERMITITIS

Mr. A.S. age 34 yrs.then complained of eruptions on the lower jaw of left side of the cheek(barber’s itch) which had severe itching and redness since last 8-9 months. He would develop red wheals with itching on taking any allopathic medicines. He was very desperate about the eruptions as they had started becoming tough in appearance and he was conscious about it. He was put on homoeopathic treatment on 4/8/2008 and his eruptions totally cleared up by 28/8/2008. The skin was absolutely clear on clean shave.

6.PANIC ATTACK

a.)MR. S.K. is a 53 years old scientific officer from BARC suffering from non insulin dependent Diabetes mellitus .He approached for homoeopathic treatment for his Diabetes. On 11/9/15,he came for the followup.He said that since 15-20 days , he complained of severe palpitations (increased heart beats) very off and on throughout the day. He had been to the allopathic physician who advised him stress test and an ECG. There was a restlessness felt by him. He revealed it to me and asked me if I could help him. On enquiry for some more details, I came to know that it all started after he had a small tiff with his neighbor after which he felt that his image was tarnished. I gave him a single dose of medicine to eat it in front of me that time itself. He ate the medicine powder in front of me collected his regular medicine and left. After 10 days(22/9/15), he came for the followup and revealed that last time after taking the medicine in the clinic ,he went home which took him 15-20 minutes. By the time , he reached home , his palpitations stopped and after that he never had it till date. He felt absolutely normal, no restlessness and overall better. His sugar had already started reducing gradually, the ECG was normal and the stress test that he had taken appointment for was normal too.

b.) A 75 yrs. old gentleman complained of severe palpitations everyday at least 3-4 times. It would start anytime and stop anytime. He was unable to sleep because of the palpitations. Many a times, he also had it in sleep and therefore would wake up from sleep and then difficult to go back to sleep. He could not figure out why it happened. On consulting the specialist, he concluded that everything was normal including the investigations that he asked him to do. Since 3 months he was suffering from the above complaints and did not know what to do. By then, he was already put on psychiatric medication by his brother-in-law who was a renowed psychiatrist in that area. He came to me on 11/05/2011.He complained that from more than a month, he has difficulty in sleeping inspite of taking a sleeping pill everyday. Whenever he goes to sleep(both daytime or night time), he feels that he missed his heartbeat. He keeps counting them and after every 10 heartbeats he would miss one. He appeared very worried and asked me if homoeopathy can do anything. I gave him medication for a week. On his first followup(19/05 /2011 ), he said that his daytime sleep has become normal. He missed the heartbeat only once or twice in last 7 days. At night, initially he slept well but would suddenly wake up in the middle of the night. Again, his heartbeats then were normal. He did not miss any. He would make it a point and count them. I gave medicines for another one week. In his next followup(25/05/2011 ), he felt absolutely normal, had a very good, refreshing sleep. He stopped taking the sleeping pills and other medicines were also tapered off by his psychiatrist brother-in-law. He is absolutely normal, free of these complaints since then till present.

c. A 35 yrs. old pregnant lady complained of absolute insomnia i.e sleeplessness with palpitations since 4-5 days which led to severe headache. There was restlessness which would not let her sit in one place; not able to sit, lie down or do anything for more than 2-3 minutes. All the complaints started after she had visited her obstetrician for her routine checkup 5days back. Everything was normal on checkup but it was almost a week more than the expected date of delivery given and there were no signs of delivery to happen. So the obstetrician had asked her to come back after a week if pains did not start. She was suggested that induction of labour for delivery would be done then as waiting longer could be risky for both the baby and patient. This put the lady into an anxiety. She was worried as to what will happen, what if the pains did not come at all, etc. she had the fear of going through the process of induced labour pain per se. as this was her second pregnancy, she became fearful about the experience that she underwent during her first delivery which was normal. She had this constant fear that will she be able to go through all that again. So also could not decide whether to go for caesarean section in order to avoid the process. All these thoughts made her restless and she could not sleep at all. At the end of five days sleepless and restless like this, she called me up at night. She was prescribed the medicine which she took the next day. She could sleep well that night and the subsequent day, her labour pains started by noon and by 3pm she delivered normally a normal ,healthy baby. Her mother called me a day after the delivery and informed that she had no fears and anxiety during the labour and was absolutely fine. Everything went smoothly.

7. BEHAVIOURAL DISORDER IN CHILDREN

a) A five year old girl living in a joint family was brought to me by her aunt saying that the child is highly disobedient, will not listen to anyone and keep pranks with other children of the family, three of them being older to her, one of her age and one younger to her. She will not sit in one place for more than 5 minutes. At the same time , she was good at her studies. She liked to study. She finished her work fast and then disturbed others. Even teachers complained of her behavior to her parents.She will do whatever is forbidden and will stop doing it only when beaten up by her father. As the treatment started, she started showing remarkable difference in her behavior after the first week itself. She was kept under homoeopathic treatment for six months after which she was totally normal in behaviour. She is eight years old now and many times accompanies her aunt for her younger cousin’s treatment. She has never after that complained of similar behavior uptil now.

b.) a twelve years old girl, miss HS, studying in std. seven was brought to me by her mother saying that something is grossly wrong with her daughter’s behavior. She does not talk to anyone in the class, she has no friends, if anyone tries to talk to her she gives rude backanswers and makes faces at them. Many times , the mother received complaints about her from the school bus staff and other children travelling with her. They say that she beats, pinches and makes faces at them if she is contradicted and does whatever she wishes to do . she will not listen to anyone. If any authority intervenes , she starts screaming and abusing them. The mother was very worried and thought of seeking psychiatric help. Miss HS was started on homoeopathic treatment. Initial visit of miss HS was nonco.operative and she denied treatment as according to her, she was alright. After the medication started in two weeks, she became co.operative and took her medication regularly on her own. Her treatment continued for 3 months after which she herself felt that she was able to control her anger and watch on her behavior. Few sessions of psychotherapy(counseling ) also accompanied the medication. The evident change of behavior was acknowledged from school, schoolbus staff and her colleagues.

8. DIABETES MELLITUS
